Ingredients

180 g Canned Tuna I used water packed tuna, as it contains less fat. When the can is opened, discard any possible liquid from your tuna
800 g Potatoes Boil and cool them beforehand to make this process faster
3 Eggs Free-range eggs serve their role the best in this salad, as they're more nutritious and bright. You may also boil them before making this salad, that won't affect the taste
300 g Chicken Breast Get boneless and skinless breasts to skip some fat. Cook it beforehand by boiling with some flavorful herbs and root parsley, for example
75 g Olive Oil Both virgin and pomace oil work fine, it depends on how much olive flavor you want
2 tsp Mustard Play with different varieties to get as much piquant taste as you want
10 g Scallions They're needed merely for decoration, so you may use other varieties of herbs
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Use only peppercorns, as they are usually fresher, thus demonstrating more aroma

Ingredients

Directions

Tuna salads are commonly eaten as the perfect source of protein, but you may enhance them by adding some more chicken breasts and hard-boiled eggs.

Steps

1
Done

You may deal with this salad much faster if you cook your potatoes before starting, this may help you to save thirty minutes for sure. Don't forget to boil them in skin, like it should be done for salads.

2
Done

Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes, but you may try them medium as well.

3
Done

Grab the mortar and grind some black pepper. You don't need to achieve the finest grade for your peppercorns, as leaving some texture is completely fine.

4
Done

Cook your eggs as usual, you just need them hard. To prevent cracking, add some salt to the boiling water. When eggs are done, cool them in cold water before shelling.

5
Done

After the hard-boiled eggs are shelled, dice them. The cubes should be similar size as potatoes, that's the main rule for any smooth texture to serve your palate.

6
Done

Cut your chicken into small cubes, just like eggs and potatoes. You got the idea how this salad should be handled.

7
Done

Stir the olive oil into the mustard until the dressing becomes smooth. If you want it more piquant, increase the amount of your mustard.

8
Done

Mix potatoes, eggs and chicken breasts. Add the tuna to them. Nothing too difficult, as you can see.

9
Done

Pour the dressing into the salad and mix until the mustard with oil are evenly distributed.

10
Done

Chop your scallions and add them to salad. Season with black pepper and salt. The tuna salad with chicken breast is ready to serve. Enjoy!
