Ingredients
-
300 g Brussel SproutsThis king of vegetable garnishes should be blanched beforehand, but that requires only a few minutes of boiling in some plain water
-
6 cloves (18 g) GarlicYou'll need the whole average garlic head
-
3 tbsp Sunflower oilGet the high oleic sunflower oil, or you may substitute it with another oil with more neutral flavor, like canola oil
-
600 g Pork Rib ChopsThe bone-in centercut pork loin with just separable lean serve the best for this dish
-
1 tsp Kosher Salt
-
1 tsp Black PepperGet the peppercorns and grind them right before adding, that helps to achieve as much flavor as possible
Directions
The centercut pork cut doesn’t require much skill to cook it in the skillet, but you can play with the garnish, if you want to surprise others. Try Brussel sprouts to enhance the overall flavor with its unique nuances. But be careful, it’s easy to overcook that vegetable, therefore it should remain almost the same color when it was raw.
