400 grams Pasta Any that you prefer
4 tablespoons Tomato paste
1 Red onion
2 cloves Garlic
To taste Salt
2 tablespoons Sunflower oil Olive oil can be also used
680 grams Ground meat Chicken, beef, pork any that you want. You can even use mixed ground meat.

Pasta bolognese is a traditional dish in Bologna, Italy. This recipe is so easy and fast, so you can cook it for lunch or even for dinner. Moreover, it will be a good idea for the festive table, because it looks very presentable. All the ingredients you can find in your kitchen. This pasta is so delicious and substantial and you don’t have to cook something as garnish. If you keep a diet you may also eat it because any type of pasta can be used: wholegrain pasta or durum wheat macaroni. There are a lot of variants of this recipe, somebody likes to add more vegetables and less tomato paste. If you want to cook this recipe by tradition, use tagliatelle pasta – this is pasta in narrow ribbons, but anyway, your favourite spaghetti, vermicelli, pennoni, and even farfalle. In my case I chose pennoni pasta and it is so tasty. The most important step is to cook the sauce. Concerning meat, defer to your taste. I used the chicken breast and I have made the ground meat at home. In the original recipe you should use the beef or pork. So, this dish don’t require any special skills that is why you can cook it in a short time.



Be sure you have all the ingredients for this recipe: ground meat, sunflower or olive oil, pasta, red onion, 2 cloves of garlic, tomato paste and the frying pan. You can buy any ready-made ground meat, but if you want to make it at home, buy 2 chicken breasts or any other meat that you prefer. I have made it by myself. Below you can see how to do it.


So, if you decided to make the ground meat, it is much better because you are sure that your ground meat is totally clean. Take the chicken fillet and wash it under cold water. Then cut it into small slices, remove all veins and fat. Mince the meat. If you want you can mince meat with onion and garlic.


Don't add salt or seasoning, because tomato paste is so savoury and all dish don't need the salt. Put the meat into the fridge. If you prefer peppered taste, add some ground black or white pepper. But don't overdo!


It's time for the bolognese sauce. Chop the onion and garlic. It must be cut very finely because the taste will be better.


Add some sunflower or olive oil and start frying the onion with the garlic. Frying pan should by dry and clean. If it has food debris, onion will change the taste.


Continue frying until it gets golden. Stir good because it can slightly burn. Onion and garlic will emit distinctive smell when it will be done. And now you can start to boil water for pasta. Salt it not too much and increase the fire.


Add ground meat to the onion and garlic, fry for about 10 minutes. If necessary add some oil. Mix it with garlic and onion and make smooth mass.


During the frying divide the meat into small slices. Ground meat must be crumbly. Soon it will emit juice and meat will stew in it's own juice.


Now add tomato paste. Don't salt the meat and pasta because tomato paste makes the sauce very salt flavor. Mix it together and let it stew for about 5-7 minutes.


Put your pasta into boiled water and stir from time to time. Boil it for 7-10 minutes on medium heat.


When the pasta is done, put it into the colander. Remove excess water and fry for a while. You can fry it in the frying pan with some tomato paste, pasta will be piquant and incredibly tasty. If you like creamy taste, add some butter or cheese, macaroni will be so succulent.


When sauce and pasta are done, serve it. For the first, put the pasta and then bolognese sauce. This dish also may be served with lasagne or light vegetable salad. It is high-calorie food, but you can be sure that all day will be full of energy and using appropriate pasta for healthy eating! This pasta is so fast to cook and you don't need to spend a lot of money on ingredients. If you want to surprise your family and organize a delicious dinner, this dish must complete your table.
