Ingredients

600 g Pizza crust If you want to make it at home, mix 2 eggs (I used one goose egg instead) with 500 ml of milk in the breadmaker. Add there 150 ml of oil and pour 1200 g of flour. Add 70 g of sugar and 20 g of salt, make a little pit in the center of flour and add 12 g of instant yeast. Choose the mode "Yeasted dough". Then put it into the fridge overnight. This way your dough will be crustier. This amount serves 4 pizzas.
250 g Mussels
180 g Cheese Use semihard cheese, for instance, Tilsiter.
30 g Mustard greens You may substitute them with purple or dino kale, or you can also try turnip greens of such varieties as Round Red, Shogoin, and White Egg. If you cannot find those, you can always go for spinach and a pinch of black pepper instead.
10g Parsley
5 g Green onions
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
150 g Tomato sauce I used the homemade tomato sauce

Ingredients

Directions

Choosing a pizza for your lunch is always a convenient option, as it doesn’t require much time to prepare. And it can be even faster if you already have the dough. So if you’re having some unexpected guests, that’s the easiest way to follow. They won’t forget this unusual combination of mussels with some greens that aren’t served raw like it’s often suggested nowadays. Enjoy!

Steps

1
Done

This recipe won't require much time to get it done. So let's start with gathering our components.

2
Done

Thoroughly oil the baking tray before spreading the dough with your fingers. You can also roll out the crust floured surface and then transfer to the baking crust.

3
Done

Mix some paprika into the tomato sauce.

4
Done

Cover the surface of the pizza crust with your tomato sauce, leaving some space for the edges.

5
Done

Evenly distribute the mussels over the crust.

6
Done

Chop some onions and sprinkle them over mussels.

7
Done

Cut the parsley. Scatter the chopped greens over your pizza.

8
Done

Coarsely chop your mustard greens, then add it to the rest of the topping.

9
Done

Top your pizza crust with a plenty of cheese. Preheat the oven to 180°С (360°F) before placing the tray within. The baking process will take about 30 minutes.

10
Done

Remove your mussel pizza from the oven. Cut it into the pieces and serve immediately while it's still hot. Such a variety of seafood pizza also tastes great with a glass of dry white wine, so, you can pair it with something like Feudi di San Gregorio or Duckhorn Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc.
