For lovers of bananas this recipe is perfect because the taste is composed of banana aroma and soft biscuit dough. This combination is ideal and a lot of people prefer this bread for everyday snack. Let's start with ingredients. You will need wholegrain flower (also you can use oatmeal flour), one egg, a pinch of salt, sugar, baking powder, bananas and butter. Also prepare a deep bowl and a baking dish. These ingredients you can find in your fridge and the most important you don't need to spend a lot of money on it. This recipe is so cheap and it allows to cook it everyday. Concerning cooking, if you have crockpot, baking oven use instructions because time of cooking and temperature can be different.


Start our cooking. Peel bananas. Don't buy green bananas because they are so firm and it is difficult to make a puree from it.


Cut bananas into small pieces.


Put bananas to the deep bowl and start to knead it by potato masher. Do it until it gets uniform consistence. You can stir it the best in blender, but add to bananas some water or milk.


Now melt butter in the microwave. Also you can use a water bath. Don't let it boil.


Add melted butter to bananas and stir this consistence with whisk to avoid lumps. The best if you stir it with spatula.


Now our dough must look like this. It produces nice smell.


Add sugar. And now heat the oven to 175 degrees. It takes time, and bread must be baked on equal temperature. Avoid any draughts because the dough can fall and bread will be little and raw.


Then add baking powder, flour and egg. Sift flour with baking powder, our bread will be more light and high.


Knead the dough. It should be dense and remind the dough for pancakes. Pour all dough to the baking dish. But smear your dish with butter and put a parchment paper in advance, and then sprinkle with flour. It helps to take out the bread when it is done without problems. Bake for about one hour on the temperature 175 degrees.


If you are not sure that bread is done, pierce it with match. Crust of bread must be browned, crumb must be very soft. If crust starts to bake faster than crumb, cover the top of bread with foil.
